15 Preparations

It is almost time to go. Our flight leaves tonight from Heathrow and we will arrive in Damascus very early on Saturday morning. I am still busy putting together my presentation for the work shop but with this web site ready the most important part is in place already.
At home the battery of my camera is still charging and so is my mobile phone - I do not know if it will work in Syria though. Apart from that I have done little preparation but it feels like the right approach to this exciting endeavor; I am very much looking forward to be surprised.
One thing I did look into is the weather though. No surprises there. London is just like you would expect it to be and so is Damascus. Great!
